Funny Battle Simulator 2
More games to play
Funny Battle Simulator 2 is a free browser strategy game where you build an army before the fight starts, then watch the battle play out on its own. No download needed, and it runs on desktop and mobile, so you can get a round in at school or work whenever the browser is open. You set the lineup, the terrain does the rest. Ice speeds units up, sand slows them down, and long grass hides your troops from enemy shooters.
What is Funny Battle Simulator 2?
It is a battle placement game by GoGoMan, released January 2022. You spend a budget placing units on one side of an arena, then the fight runs automatically. Units range from cavemen up to bears wielding miniguns and armored elephants. Each unit has a price and a capacity cost, so fielding the heaviest hitters means cutting cheaper troops. After every battle you earn money and unlock new fighters. The rating is 4.6 out of 5 from nearly 15,000 votes.
Controls and camera
Most of the action is in the placement phase, so the controls are intentionally simple. The spectator camera lets you cruise around the arena once the battle starts.
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Place a unit | Left mouse click |
| Delete a unit | Right mouse + CTRL |
| Move camera | WASD |
| Speed up movement | Shift |
| Rotate camera | Q / E |
| Zoom and pan (spectator) | Hold right mouse + WASD |
Units, cost, and army capacity
Every unit has two costs: a price in gold and a space cost against your army cap. Cheap units like cavemen are small on both counts, while the biggest fighters eat a large chunk of your cap on top of costing more gold. Mixing cheap and expensive units is usually smarter than stacking only one type.
| Unit tier | Cost level | Capacity use | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cavemen and basic fighters | Low | Low | Good for filling gaps in your line |
| Mid-range units | Moderate | Moderate | Unlocked after a few battles |
| Bears with miniguns | High | High | Long range, heavy damage |
| Elephants | High | High | Durable frontline, slow on sand |
Terrain effects and how to use them
Ice speeds units up, so a charge across ice can reach the enemy line fast. Sand slows movement to a crawl, which punishes fragile units placed too far from the action. Long grass is the most useful surface: units standing in it are invisible to enemy shooters, making it the best spot for ranged fighters to open fire without being targeted back.
Tips for building a stronger army
- Put ranged units in long grass. Shooters there are invisible to enemies and get free damage before anyone can target them.
- A full line of cheap fighters often beats a few expensive ones with gaps in between.
- Watch the spectator camera after a loss to spot exactly where your line broke.
- On ice, fast cheap units close the gap quickly, so they punch above their cost there.
- Hold some gold between rounds. Bigger rewards come after each battle, and a small reserve lets you grab a new unit the moment it unlocks.
