About Craft and Battle
This is a tactical war game with a base and an economy under the fighting. You take ground, claim resource tiles, and spend what you gather on new units. The aim is to outlast and overwhelm the enemy army, with the enemy general as the prize target since taking them out weakens everything they have left.

Resources, units, and prisoners
The spending choices are the heart of it. Resources come off map tiles and go into recruiting specialized units or strengthening your base. Enemies you capture become prisoners you can trade for assets.

Different maps, different plans

A few habits that help:
- Grab resource tiles fast so your economy outpaces the enemy.
- Pull back hurt units instead of trading them away for nothing.
- Trade prisoners while the assets are useful.
- Go for the general only when the raid is worth the units you risk.
